What You Can Expect from Kayaking at Klongnongtale Krabi

Kayaking Tour at Klongnongtale. In the past, this canal was a small freshwater canal, its feature looked like a peat swamp forest full of plants. About 10 years later, there was the construction of an overflow weir in the middle of the canal to slow down the flowing water for using in the dry season and bringing to produce water supply in order to solve the problems for people.

Because of construction was upwards the overflow weir resulting in the small canal and the peat swamp forest became the large pond with an area of about  100 rai, the depth was about 5 meters and the width was about 200 meters until it was called and well known by villagers as “Klongnongtale “. Now ” Klongnongtale ” or ” Klong Rood ” becomes a new ecotourism destination in Krabi for supporting the tourists who love ecotourism. By kayaking to upstream of Klongnongtale, you will see smalls and big rocks looking like small mountains emerging from the water surface, alternating with stumps and also with many species of plants, including wild orchid, nepenthes, and nymphaeaceae in the water all the routes of kayaking.

Itinerary

• 08:30am Pick up from your hotel.
• 09:00am Start to paddle kayak at Klongnongtale(Klong Rood) for sightseeing the magnificent of forest, On the way sightseeing to various species of orchid and many trees. Passing rubber plantation and pineapple garden. Kayaking about 30 mins. to water spring and fantastic crystal lagoon. Then enjoy swimming and relax with freshwater.
• 12:00am Return to start point. Back to your hotel. (For Half day Kayaking with Swimming Tour).
• 12:00pm Thai set lunch served at the restaurant .
• 01:00pm Enjoy elephant trekking through lush tropical rainforest and enjoy with ATV riding though to nature.
• 02:30pm Return to start point. Back to your hotel.
