Spend a day in Koh Phaluai and Ang Thong Marine Park, a protected area home to exotic marine life. Phaluai is the largest island of Ang Thong Marine Park, with some of the best remnants of mangrove forest around. Several smaller islands encircle Koh Phaluai, with most residents being either farmers or fishermen. Known as the capital village of the chain of islands, Koh Phaluai is still fairly new to tourism and is mostly inhabited by sea gypsies.
Koh Phaluai is about 18km from the mainland. The journey by speedboat takes about 50-60 minutes. About half of the land is part of Ang Thong Marine Park. Koh Phaluai is the third-largest island in the park and the protected area can’t be reached by car but is open to visitors by boat. You can spot oriental pied hornbills everywhere while traveling on the island, especially during dawn and before dusk.
Island hopping across all gems of the Ang Thong Marine Park from Koh Samui is guaranteed to sweep you off your feet. Among all these islands, the most spectacular ones are Koh Wua Talap and Koh Mae Ko. Cruise to Koh Wua Talap to witness the most incredible scenery from its highest viewpoint that you can find in this part of the Gulf of Thailand. But arguably, the most recognized and popular attraction in all of the Ang Thong Marine Park is Emerald Lake, in the middle of Koh Mae Ko Island. Prepare for a short hike until you reach the bay with emerald color water as you have never seen it before. More Snorkeling Tour From Koh Samui.

The snorkeling was on a very nice island with nice corals and lots of fish and sea urchins. The kayak
tour with a visit to a great lagoon was a mega experience. The climb to the viewpoint was also very
nice.
They prepared some snacks for the cruise. Mu Ko Ang Thong is a calm experience. It was nice to see that they rather try to preserve these islands than to ruin them with loads of tourist activities. Returning to Samui you will eventually witness the sunset which makes a nice conclusion of the tour
