Koh Tao is located on the east side of the Surat Thani coastline with two neighboring islands, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui. Koh Tao is officially a subdistrict of Koh Phangan in Surat Thani province, and the name, in English, means ‘Turtle Island’ for the island’s connection with its being inhabited by sea turtles. Though they are not as plentiful as in the past, nowadays you can still find green and hawksbill turtles in some areas such as Thian Og Bay. The island’s shape is also thought to resemble a turtle when viewed from Koh Phangan.

The island’s natural beauty both above and below the water, with its stunning coral reefs and abundant marine life in clear, warm water, bring thousands of visitors here each year making it an unforgettable destination for divers, adventurers, and travelers alike. Koh Nang Yuan has some great snorkeling sites and it’s popular for scuba diving. There are five dives sites dotted around the island; White Rock, Nang Yuan Pinnacle (also known as Red Rock), Green Rock, Japanese Gardens, and Twin Peaks. Itinerary

• 09:00am-09:30am / 11:00am-11:30am Pick you up from your accommodation in Koh Tao
• 10:00am / 12:00am Depart from Mae Haad pier to Koh Nang Yuan island
  • (1) Nang Yuan Island: The heart of this trip. You can walk on the sand bridge which connects 3 islands together or go to a viewpoint to see the islands from the top. Don’t miss the famous “Japanese Garden” snorkeling point.
  • (2) Mango Bay: After you get back to the ship, we will serve you with a lunch box. Then after lunch, we will bring you to “Ao Muang”, the next snorkeling point. Here you will be beautiful corals and fishes.
  • (3) The next snorkeling point is “Ao Hin Wong” in which you will see millions of Yellow-Strip scad fishes.
  • (4) Then we will go to “Ao Leuk”, which is famous for big size corals and beautiful fishes.
  • (5) Last but not least, the “Shark Bay” snorkeling point. You will see green turtles and on a lucky day, you will see a blacktip reef shark.
• 05:00pm / 06:00pm Arrive at the Mae Haad pier, send you back safely to your accommodation.
