We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, from the easy check-in at Pier 1, through boarding, and throughout the cruise itself. The check-in point was easy to find, and we were attended to immediately. Our tickets were issued and everything was clearly explained. We had booked upper-deck seating, and it was a pleasant surprise to also be allocated an indoor table in case of rain or if we simply wanted to move inside. As it was such a lovely evening in Bangkok, we chose to stay on the upper deck. Boarding at Pier 2 was equally well organised, with staff on hand to make sure everyone got onto the correct boat. Once the boat arrived, boarding was quick and efficient, with plenty of staff available to escort guests to their tables. A member of the waiting staff came over almost immediately to explain where the various food options were located and to take our drink orders. The buffet was fully stocked and ready to enjoy even before the boat got underway. There was an excellent variety of seafood, as well as a good selection of Thai and Western dishes. The food we tried was consistently of excellent quality, and the Japanese sushi bar was particularly good. The service throughout the evening was also excellent. Used plates were cleared almost immediately whenever we left the table to get more food. Water glasses were regularly refilled without us having to ask, and when our paid drinks were empty, we were politely asked whether we wanted another. If we said no, that was respected, there was no constant pressure to order more, which was a really nice touch. The entertainment was on the upper deck and was very enjoyable, inclusive and continuous throughout the cruise. We passed plenty of other dinner cruise boats along the river, but we certainly felt that we had some of the best music and atmosphere! Of course, the views are one of the highlights. Seeing Bangkok from the river is a fantastic experience and gives you a completely different perspective of the city. Overall, we thought the Opulence Seafood Buffet Dinner Cruise was well worth the money. There was plenty of excellent food, drinks (admittedly at an additional cost), great entertainment, attentive service and, of course, spectacular views along the Chao Phraya River. Highly recommended for a fun and enjoyable evening in Bangkok!

We had an amazing unforgettable dining experience with this river cruise! Admission fee including our agents is reasonable. Our cruise time is at 7:30 pm as it's written on our individual ticket. But we went to the docking area earlier for the queue as there were other groups. The embarkation was orderly and quick though! The crowd was lively! We were seated on the upper deck and we're among the more than 200 people there( I believe). I don't know how many were in the lower deck. The buffet dinner was grand, with international selection for such a global crowd! Awesome! The staff were courteous and energetic. We enjoyed jamming with the House Band and later dancing! Though there was a brief drizzle, it didn't damp the spirit of the dancing crowd. While enjoying the party, we also had an unforgettable celebration with the spectacular sights of the glowing Grand Palace and other landmarks in golden lights!

The constant in this tour is, you will always see the same attractions. The variable which can make or break the experience is the tour guide. We had a fantastic one. Johny from Yo Hoo. A really nice couple of hours cruising the river in Bangkok, The entertainers were fun, the food was buffet with plenty of choices and well prepared and presented, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was not an expensive night out. I would recommend this boat trip.
