Bangkok looked beautiful from the river

We wanted an easy evening plan and this cruise was a good choice. The river views were lovely, especially once the lights came on along the Chao Phraya. Dinner was enjoyable, but for me the best part was simply sitting back and watching the temples, bridges and buildings pass by.

Two Hours That Flew By Thanks to an Amazing Training Session

This two-hour Muay Thai training in Bangkok was one of the best active experiences I did on my trip. Training with real fighters made it feel authentic, but the session was still friendly and suitable for visitors. They pushed me just enough, corrected my technique, and kept the energy high the whole time. It was a great workout, but also a fun way to learn about Thai boxing beyond just watching a fight. I walked away tired in the best way and would happily do it again.

Best time spent

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Royal Princess River Cruise! From the moment we boarded, the staff made us feel so welcome with their warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our evening special, especially by celebrating our friend's birthday with us, creating memories we'll always cherish. The cruise itself was beautiful, with stunning views along the river and a lovely atmosphere throughout the evening. The food exceeded our expectations it was completely halal, offered an excellent variety of dishes, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious.

Anticipation but a bit late down

The anticipation of the dinner cruise but waiting too long at the jetty at ICONSIAM. There was a lack of signage, but fortunately we asked to go to Pier 1 to get our tickets before boarding. The food was generous, and the selection was great. As the upper deck was only opened, we were not told of additional food stations on the second deck, making us miss the food. Otherwise, it's value for money... and the view of the Bangkok skyline is stunning.

Must do in Bangkok

The meeting point was easy to find and the tour guide was amazing. She was efficient, full of knowledge and very helpful. She was proud of her culture and we were in awe of what we saw. Pictures don do it justice like seeing for yourself.

Enjoyable and relaxing

My wife and I had a very nice time on our dinner cruise, which my wife booked for my 70th birthday. This boat is smaller than some of the oyher major cruise boats, but we chose it because we knew it had a sliding roof on the top deck in case of rain, which is normal in Bangkok during May. We were given our own table, which was also nice. The staff were all very gracious, the buffet dinner was delicous andcthe entertainment was pleasant.

Grand Palace

First of all they advised us to be there 30 mins prior to to our tour so arrived at 9.30am. They took us inside the building and guide explained programme for the day after he finished we told him our tour was not 5 hours long, it did not include a ferry ride or a tuk tuk ride, it did not include the Floating Markets and finished at a different finining point to his instructions so they put us on the wrong tour and our tour was meant to be 3 hours long. We asked him to go back outside to original meeting point and find out about our tour.. he came back 20 minutes later and just said we had to do this tour and finish in War Arun and make our own way back to original finish point. We finished at Wat Pho as it was 1.30pm and did not have rime to complete Wat Arun as it was 1.40pm and we had been going from 10am some 3 hours & 40 minutes later and still was not ar Wat Arun!,,,
