Hug Chang is a part of Maetaeng Elephant Park that provides alternative activities. At Hug Chang, we show how well we treat our elephants and inform the correct information about Thai elephants. We also provide activities that tourists can touch and being close to elephants under the control of our professionally trained staff to ensure the safety of tourists. When you arrive at Hug Chang, you will be warmly welcomed with an herbal drink and Thai style snack. After you changed you attire that we provide for you, you will briefly inform of today’s activities.

Meet Thailand’s gentle giants at Maetaeng Elephant Park. Visit them in their sanctuary in Chiang Mai and be dazzled by their magnificence. With the help of an English speaking guide, you will learn how to treat them properly and with respect. Interact with them, feed them, and even bathe them. You will learn more about these creatures and, hopefully, you will have a deeper appreciation for them.

• Child ticket age between 3-6 years and must have a height between 90-130 cm
