The day was brilliant from start to finish, with us staying in Khao Lak our transfer was about 2 hours each way, the guides were amazing and so knowledgeable about the islands. They were there to help with anything even helped carry my flip flops back to the boat when I got stuck in the mud in the cave. The islands were absolutely beautiful. Myself and my daughter had an amazing day.

If you’re looking at doing tours in Khao Lak, I highly recommend you contact Ying from Khao Lak Juntra Tour. She goes above and beyond and I am so glad we booked our elephant tour with her. It was a life changing spiritual quest amongst the solitude of the mountains of Thailand. My lovely guide picked me up and started the drive by sharing the story of the region. We first stopped at the Tsunami Museum and then took an hour and a half drive into the hillside on a newly paved road. The guide told me that the three temples are only where the locals go. The first stop was straight out of the movie “Aang, the last airbender”. The temple is still in the process of construction but it is an ancient spiritual site where stalactites and stalagmites formed the “cathedral” inside the cave: the monks live there and visit the site which made it a living temple. The second stop was a guided Buddhist temple with dragons and 60 Buddhas, there was a relic - Buddhas tooth from 2000 years ago. I had the temple all to myself since there was not a single person in sight: there are also giant Buddhas on the nearby hillside built in the jungle overseeing the valley. The last temple is the largest with a mix of Hindu and Chinese influenced temples. It’s a large complex with a lot to explore. It can be quite hot so prepare yourself with a fan and water. My guide was knowledgeable and kind. We stopped by for lunch after our tour and enjoyed thai dishes. A very unique and rare opportunity to find solitude away from the tourists.

We arrived at James Bond early ahead of crowds our guide Thani was brilliant in taking lots of photos for us with different poses for where we were. I would maybe suggest that when you send reminder of things you need to bring to remind customers of coverings for the Temple Sea canoe great rowers bit pushy for tips

We had a really fantastic day, our guide Boom was brilliant, full of fun information and always on hand to help. We personally loved feeding the monkeys and the beauty of the boat ride to James Bond.

The tour was very well organized, we were picked up on time from our hotel and all the boat trip was very well guided and organized. The guides were absolutely amazing, friendly and kind. We had a small motor problem with the boat on the way back and the boat conductor fixed the problem in no time. We felt safe and well accompanied.

We absolutely recommend this trip with this company! The staff is professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, always prioritizing safety from the Captain down to the Helpers. It was our second boat island trip with SeaStar, and we both agree they did it perfectly! You’ll receive exactly what’s promised in the brochure, plus so much more. We enjoyed a light breakfast, a thorough safety briefing, motion sickness pills if needed, an excellent photographer, swimming, snorkeling, canoeing, cave exploration, a great full-course lunch, shopping, and, of course, James Bond Island. We were so impressed with Jasmine and the crew. We’d definitely book with them again!
