What To Expect
Enjoy snorkeling of Krabi’s stunning white sandy beaches and exploring many colorful fish and coral reefs. Experience crystal clear water and spectacular scenery under the backdrop of a painted sunset. After the other tourists have left you’ll love this magical place, waves lapping gently as the sun goes down. The water is at bath temperature and just begs to be swum in. Sit down and eat a delicious buffet dinner at the restaurant. It’s always a fantastic atmosphere. There’s a cool box for cold drinks and some fresh tropical fruit to finish it all off.
After eating, take a moonlit dip in the sea. If you are lucky you may get to see the phosphorescent plankton like fireflies in the water. Even the boat ride back to Ao Nang, watching the light go down over Ao Nang Beach and the 7 Islands disappearing behind you is a memory of Krabi that you won’t forget for your memorable trip.

Great trip, a really full day in a traditional boat.
This is well worth booking. Our host Ariel was very helpful, caring and informative. nWe visited 2 islands twice, for different types of visits. One was to drop off the food for dinner the other one was a beach stop and a snorkelling stop. We had a great time on this trip and the sunset was a real highlight after dinner. The bioluminescence isnu2019t like having a light on in the water, itu2019s a naturally occurring phenomenon and so is more subtle, you canu2019t expect a laser show! We saw it best when buckets of sea water were thrown on deck, but the best way to see is get in the water and agitate it vigorously! Drinking water was provided throughout the day.
Pleasant and well organized
This was pleasant and well organized. Food was great. Pickup was great. Easy contact via WhatsApp The fact that it started at 1pm allowed me to take the tour on my first day of arrival to Thailand. This said the tour itinerary is not as interesting as the Hong Island tour. If I remember ther were two snorkeling stops, the first one was pointless. In the second one there were interesting yellow and white fishes.
bioluminescence is not great, sunset and 7 islands is good
we booked this through the hotel and got Lucky Tours - 7 Islands sunset and bioluinescence tour. the tour was great but the guide didnt speak english much and the dinner provided was quite bad - rice and chicken. there was a lot of walking from railay pier to the sunset spot. the bioluminescence u0022poolu0022 was just plankton in the sea at night and you could hardly see anything unless you are fully in the water and it was complete darkness. quite difficult as you have lights from the boat and pier.
Not worth it
First of all, if you donu2019t already know Oh-Ho is a thirds party that book different local companies so the actually company doing the tour is Krabi Sunsets. Youu2019re much better off booking on the street where you can get a better deal and the u201cnational park feesu201d included than here on TA. I used it only because I got cash back/points so it made sense to do it here. The tour is not 20 people max, itu2019s 32, still in a long tail boat which is definitely maxing it out. The snorkeling was terrible, you couldnu2019t see anything other than dead corals everywhere which was incredibly depressing. Our stops were shorter than scheduled, for example we were told weu2019d have 45 minutes at one stop and turns out the boat was ready to leave after 25 (probably because the snorkeling was so bad nobody really wanted to stay long to see it). However, because all of our stops ended early we got to the dinner spot too early and the food wasnu2019t ready, we then had to wait around two hours for sunset. The bioluminescent plankton was an absolute joke, instead of the spot they usually go to, they wanted us to get in the dirty water near the main pier (so drop off was more convent since we were already there), most people refused. You could see u201csparklesu201d when they moved the water but it wasnu2019t glowing by any means.nnHonestly this tour through TA or booked on the street is not worth it, you can see chicken island from Phra Nang Cave Beach on the other side of Railay and itu2019s a lot cheaper/better experience.
Great day Great value
We went on this trip which left at 1-00pm-1-30pm and takes about 1hour to get to the 1st island where you get off and have a swim in the lovely warm sea.Bit haphazard at first getting everyone onto the longboats but once your at sea it all pans out.2nd island boat stops and you jump off boat and snorkel for about 45 minutes right up against one of the big stone cliffs,lots of fish seen.You eventually get to the island where the guide who in our case was called Vinnie and was brilliant always on hand to take photos.Here you have a pre cooked barbecue with soft drinks.The sea here was lovely here to swim in and where you watch the beautiful sunset.Unfortunately there were some very ignorant people here who after having their food and drink left their plates and cans lying around for others to pick up but I think the guys who were running barbecue should have had sacks out from the start and told everyone where to put rubbish.On the way back to shore we stopped at another island in the darkness to see the fluorescent plankton then dropped off on shore and taken back to shore then hotel.This trip worked out at about u00a325 and was well worth the money.
Good day trip would go again
This island tour is very good. We were picked up from our accommodation at the time we were told that we would be. Once we got to the beach there was short wait for everyone to arrive so we could start. We were under the impression that the boat would be a big long tail boat however it was just a regular one which we were happier with as it meant there were less people on the tour. Our guide was friendly, informative and helpful. Felt we had long enough at each stop. Dinner was an amazing beach bbq which we really enjoyed (they do cater for vegetarians too) and then the sunset at the last destination was beautiful. We had a bit of a cloudy day but it was still incredible. The only part that was a little disappointing was seeing the plankton, our guide filled buckets of water to throw down on the boat which was cool but you couldnu2019t see any just by looking into the sea.
Absolutely Amazing
This was just a beautiful day. Very professional and fun at the same time. They Picked us up from our hotel on time. The van was spacious and very clean. They kept us informed of what to look forward to and the order that it would happen. Every was very friendly and the boat was very well maintained. So much to see from the moment of departure until we returned. The mangroves and islands seem to give you a different view every few minutes. I have so many pictures of the same island that look so completely different. The kayak was spectacular going under a arch and through the island presented a magnificent view. Coming out the other side was a little rough as the waves were around 3 foot. Then through a little channel and then through another arch into a very calm bay with towering cliffs surrounding you. With the natural beauty of each island there was no time for boredom. The snorkeling is magical there is so much to see and explore. A beautiful sunset on the water, the lights of Ao Nang in the distance all added to the magic. Snorkeling with the bioluminescent plankton to end the trip was like swimming through the stars. We will absolutely do it again.

Disappointed by this tour... as we didnu2019t visit exactly what is described.nThe description is not updated and correspond to an old program.nOnce we were with the agency operating, we just learnt that we wouldnu2019t do the tour we paid for... (official reason given: you bought an old program! Check with Oh-Hoo).nAt the end Oh-Hoo apologied and proceeded to a partial refund but we still missed Railay beach that is THE beach to visit in Krabi... and this old program tour is still offered on their website
Amazing Tour
My favourite 7 islands sunset tour!nPeople around were amazing, the tour guide so fun and nice!nWe went to pick up people in Ralay beach too so a little extra stop!nEnough time to do snorkeling and nice perfect day to stop for an hour on the island during the low tide and we were able to walk to the other one!nAmazing sunny warm day, beautiful water and tour in general.nGreat BBQ at sunset on the beach!nQuick stop for the plancton but it was really fascinating!nI would suggest this tour 100 more times!
Definitely good
Everything went as planned. They picked us up in the morning at the hotel, we collected others on the way and they drove us to the pier. It tooks some minutes but the we were ready to go. Be aware - things get wet in the boat. So either you have a waterproof bag or don't take to many things with you. Snorkeling set is provided by the company. We had the traditional long tail boat. It can be loud but you get used to it. Also it can be a very bumpy ride - if get motion sick, be sure to have something in pocket to help you. Otherwise the was as described we had 3 snorkeling spots, even more if you snorkel on your own at the beaches. We also were allowed to the night snorkeling to see the bioluminescence plankton. It was definitely worth it. The food was also tasty and plenty for everyone. At first it's a huge group but you get separate on different boats and have a group size of 12. We would definitely recommend it for beautiful pictures and view and see beautiful islands.
Amazing experience exploring the islands!
We had a great experience with this excursion. After a bit of a chaotic and unorganized start, we were off to the islands and doing activities. Our longboat had some trouble and we all got quite soaked while travelling from island to island. However, our tour guide, Mac, made it an amazing experience. Overall, it was excellent and we would highly recommend it.
