Pileh Bay, a bay is surrounded by limestone mountains with only one entrance and exit, the sea is clear to be seen the sand under the seawater, the coral reef is still abundant and the small sand beach is at the area of the mouth of the bay, Loh Samah Bay is a diving spot of Phi Phi Islands Tour, the coral is still very abundant in this area.
Monkey beach is a simply stunning 150 meters long strip of white powdered sand fringed by emerald water. The backside of the beach is a rather steep limestone cliff , cover with lush vegetation that offers monkeys a comfortable habitat , which is where it gets the name from. It’s also good snorkeling point nearby and photography, but beware of the monkeys and do not go to close to them.
Bamboo Island is the ideal island for relaxing on the white sand beach and snorkeling with many colourful fish in the crystal clear seawater with abundant coral and strolling around the island.
Nui Beach is settled in a tiny cove located to the south of Lana Bay on the west coast of Koh Phi Phi Don. Framed by tall karsts which offer excellent rock climbing opportunities, it is a renowned field among snorkelling enthusiasts. A few limestone karts – including one of Phi Phi’s landmarks, Camel Rock – jut out from the sea right in front of the beach, adding to its exotic feel. Viking Cave, there are the swallow nest concessions in the cave at present, the tourists can swim in the seawater, snorkeling on the coral reef, various species of fish.
Shark Point is one the most famous and popular diving sites of Koh Phi Phi. It is maybe the best place to spot many Leopard Sharks resting and sleeping. The site consists of a large rock going down to 22 meters deep on a sandy bottom where the Sharks usually stay. Don’t worry, this kind of Shark is totally harmless to us humans.

Great day on the water with a super competent operator!!
We went through trip advisor to book which was super easy and emailed us all we needed. The meet up spot was the same for several groups so it was a little confusing. But the tour people actually called us to let us know we were in the right apt and our house was on the way. After a little more wrangling we got on a boat and headed out. Our boat operator was a one man show for 12 tourists. He had no English. He did great. Took us to all the places, told us what to do. Told us when to get back in the boat. Super great and competent. There were alot of other tourists but this guy wedged us in no problem. He gets 5 stars from us. nWe had a great day!!
Nice tour around the phi phi islands, but service could have been better
Koh Phi phi Don is the main island which is inhabited. This trip takes you to tourist spots in Koh Phi Phi Lee, which is about 20 minutes in boat to reach. nnPhi Phi Lee seems to be a protected island with coral reefs and lagoons, etc, and is ecologically sensitive.nnThe boat took us around to all the major points around the island including Maya bay, Viking beach, lagoon etc. nnWe had gone for a 7 island trip from Keabi a few days back before this trip. I am giving 4 stars to the phi phi trip provider because they did not give as much detailed info about the visiting island to us, and had slightly sloppy facilities (drinking water, fruits, snorkeling equipments, life jackets) compared to the other one.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! We booked a half day tour they put us on a full day tour after telling the guid over and over again that our ferry back to Phuket leaves at 4. We ended up stuck on the island begging someone to take us to Phuket because our international flight was the next morning at 4am! NOBODY cared to help even tho they messed up the entire trip!!! We ended up spending 13000 bht just to get back to Phuket all because of their terrible service and lies!!!! Iu2019ll be taking this matter further
The experience was average. Guide just named the places and hadn't explained anything about them. But please make sure everyone gets a receipt for THB400 national park fee (This no one checked inside the national park), don't know if was it even legal or just a SCAM.
See the sights, save some money.
Technically all that was advertised was provided - the stops, snacks, water, and snorkeling mask. I wouldn't repeat it as the u0022guideu0022 was talking loudly on his phone every minute the boat was moving, and he sat in the bow smoking which blew smoke on all 12 of us passengers. nThe 2 diving spots were wonderful, with great corals and variety of fish. Maya bay was a parade of people and you can't go in the water from the beach you pay to visit. I'm glad they are healing the bay but it didn't seem worth the entrance fee. Monkey beach did have monkeys.. but no beach with the afternoon high tide. nI think you get random guides/drivers with this booking so some a probably better. We would have spent more to have a private boat and more freedom to snorkel.
Great tour run by the locals
Had a great day exploring all the must see snorkel spots of phi phi island. When booking, know that this is a tour run by locals and not a fancy tour company. You get a basic sandwich and orange juice when you get on, and fried rice in the afternoon. nnWe did 7 stops including Maya Bay, Monkey Beach and swimming with plankton. My advice would be to sit at the front end of the boat as the back is very loud and you canu2019t talk during the transfers to the next spot. nnAll in all I think the trip exceeded my expectations. Itu2019s a nice way to see all the major attractions of the islands on a budget.
Fun day of swimming and snorkeling
This tour was a lot of fun, you get a full day travelling around in longtail boat, swimming and snorkeling. I am not a strong swimmer and have never snorkeled before, but we had life jackets if you wanted and snorkel masks to borrow, so I had no problems and got to enjoy swimming in the ocean and seeing lots of colourful fish and sea urchinsnOur guide had limited English, however enough to effectively communicate. I thought we had the right amount of time at each stop and the guide made sure no one got left behind by doing regular headcounts. Lunch and snacks were pretty basic, if you have a big appetite I'd consider bringing extra snacks - rice, simple sandwich, sliced pineapple nMake sure you have lots of suncream. When snorkeling, the water cools you down so you don't realise how hot the sun is. I got VERY SUNBURNT despite applying suncream in the morning
Good fun but book with locals - not online with Viator
Do not book through this tour operator Viator. They say best price guaranteed with isn't true. Cheaper if you book on the island with the locals instead. I emailed Viator about it (and the fact that the tour ended early) but they didn't reply and just keep emailing automated messages to leave a review instead.nnThe tour itself was fun but I think they skipped a snorkeling spot and beach because it ended early. The majority of people didn't want to wait 1.5 hours doing nothing until sunset for the plankton. (We wouldn't have had to wait around doing nothing if they didn't skip a spot, so it was quite confusing.)nnRecommend people go snorkeling in phi phi but book it in person instead of online.
Good for seeing fish/islands around Koh Phi Phi on budget
Good for budget if you like snorkeling and want to see a couple of islands around Koh Phi Phi. Make sure to bring extra food (crisps/snacks) so you don't get hungry when out and about. Be advised that the waves can be quite rough.
Decent amount of stops with monkeys, baby sharks, fish and Maya beach all covered off!
Great day out with some decent stops for snorkelling, maya beach, monkey bay and a tonne of island watchingu2026 perhaps a little long on the afternoon session as the timing for the plankton watch was after sunset, ie 7.30pm onwards and we finished by around 6.30 so opted as a group not to wait the additional hour for the sunset. nWe saw loads of tropical fish and some small sharks while snorkelling in a couple of different spots and the monkeys let you get super close up to them on monkey bay which is unreal!nMaya beach is open again now so you also get around an hour to walk around the little bit of the island but the toilets are absolutely grim here. nDefinitely worth the money!
great boat tour to explore the waters in and around phi phi. a half day is definitely enough but we went for full day and all i can say is definitely bring snacks as you are served lunch early on in the tour and i was starving by the evening. other than that i heavily recommended using this company
The weather is so beautiful, during the rainy season in this area. Bright sunshine, clear blue sea water. The boatman and the instructor took us all the time, but we had to ignore the last two points because the team was tired. I was very impressed with Bamboo island with a white sand beach stretched out of an arc, but unfortunately I could only see Maya flying from afar. Amazing and highly recommended !!
