Wat Mahathat (1 hour)
One of the most impressive Buddha head statues located at the base of a Bodhi tree. It was once a royal monastery and a residence for the Supreme Patriarch during the early Ayutthaya period.

Wat Phra Si Sanphet (1 hour)
The largest and most important temple within the royal palace area in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, and a model for the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok.Viharn

Phra Mongkol Bophit (1 hour)
Located to the south of Wat Phra Si Sanphet. This viharn houses Phra Mongkol Bophit, a large Buddha statue that was damaged during the second Ayutthaya period but has been fully restored with gilded bronze.

Wat Lokayasutharam (2 hour)
Believed to have been constructed in the mid-Ayutthaya period. The temple features the largest reclining Buddha statue on the island of Ayutthaya and is one of the largest in Thailand.
