The Chantara Junk Boat Day Tour offers you the best experience to discover the fantastic shores of Koh Phangan where you can swim in its crystal clear water among stunning coral reefs and a variety of fishes. The Chantara Junk Boat is a traditional Chinese and Japanese sailing vessel designed for voyages along the rivers and near the sea coast. It is 25 meters long and made completely out of teak wood. It is furnished with all the modern conveniences you need! The main distinctive features of junk are the sails from bamboo yards and mats in form of quadrangle, rostrum, and stern is raised a little. The sails can be rolled like jalousie. The massive rudder is fixed instead of a keel.

Koh Ma
Enjoy Snorkeling at Koh Ma. Koh Ma is a beautiful beach at the north-western tip of Koh Phangan. It's actually a small island connected to Phangan by a small sand bar about 200 meters long.

Thong Nai Pan Beach
Stop at Thong Nai Pan, relaxing on the secluded beach or enjoying massage, or cocktails. Thong Nai PanYai Beach is located at Moo5, in Ban Tai sub-district. It is 23 kilometers away from the town. It is the second most beautiful beach after Rin Beach. The beach is divided into two areas which are Tong Nai Pan Noi Beach (North) and Tong Nai Pan Yai (South).

What To Expect
The Chantara Junk Boat will take you on an adventure to discover the beautiful landscape around Koh Phangan, the neighboring island of Koh Samui. Your day will begin with a pick-up from your hotel that will take you first to the pier where you’ll board a traditional junk boat. Here, you’ll enjoy a hearty buffet lunch made from authentic local ingredients. After the lunch, served on board, you can explore the colorful underwater world of Koh Ma with its stunningly clear water, corals-filled seabed, abundant sea anemones, and all varieties of tropical fish.
After the snorkeling, The Chantara Junk Boat will stop on Thong Nai Pan beach where customers will be offered to enjoy a massage or simply relax on this secluded bay with a cocktail or fresh fruit shake. Nearing the end of the journey, “adventurers” will be able to admire Koh Phangan’s rugged coastline, stunning coves, and deserted beaches while returning to Koh Samui. Appetizers will be served during the sunset.
