The Ping River, here swift and twisty, flows vigorously in the shadow of the Chiang Dao mountain. Every turn seems to present itself for a new photo opportunity as we drove south across the valley. The river contours are demanding when the creek-like features force us to adhere to the river’s path.

With Chiang Dao town downstream of the start point we are truly paddling in the Mae Pings clean spring rainwater as the only forest and farmland can be found upstream.

• The minimum age of passengers is 6 years.
• Children up to 12 should be in a double kayak with a strong adult paddler.
• In any case, if your booking isn’t matched with reality when you show upfront (such as child’s age, child’s height, the number of people and etc), you are responsible to pay the additional charge upfront for the tour.
