Head to Khao Sok View Point for a bird’s eye view of the lush forest. Visit Panturat Temple to see wild macaques. During the rainy season, we also include a visit to Mae Yai Waterfall as an extra. - Stop 1
Khao Sok National park.
Arrive at the national park headquarters. Set off jungle walking along the trail. Our guide will help you get acquainted with flora & fauna. Walk up to the stream where you can swim in crystal clear water. On this trail, you can expect to see wild monkeys, langurs, and some reptiles. Enjoy the sound of the jungle before walking back.
- Stop 2
Sok River
In the afternoon, we embark on a bamboo raft journey along the Sok River. Marvel at Khao Sok's stunning landscape as you glide peacefully along the river, with our experienced crew guiding the raft. Sit back, relax, and immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings. Upon reaching the riverbank, our staff will boil water over an open fire to prepare jungle coffee, served in a bamboo cup for an authentic experience.

Panturat Temple
Visiting a Panturat Temple to see wild macaques.

Khao Sok View Point
Head to Khao Sok View Point to see the bird's eye view of the lush forest before returning to your resort.

What To Expect
A day trip from Khao Lak offers you the chance to get closer to the ancient rainforest of Khao Sok National Park. Embark on a nearly 5 km jungle trek (round trip) through the rainforest, leading you along a cool, clear stream where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Discover the rich biodiversity of the rainforest and admire stunning limestone mountain views during a serene bamboo raft ride along the Sok River.
Visit Panturat Temple to see wild macaques and then head to Khao Sok View Point for a breathtaking bird’s eye view of the lush forest before returning to your resort. During the rainy season, the tour also includes a visit to Mae Yai Waterfall as an extra highlight.

- Sometimes the route changes depending on the weather conditions.
- Guests who are pregnant or have high blood pressure, heart disease and bone diseases are not recommended to join the tour.
- In any case, if your booking isn’t matched with reality when you show upfront (such as child’s age, child’s height, the number of people and etc), you are responsible to pay the additional charge upfront for the tour.
- There is a minimum of 2 people required to run this tour!
- On the rare occasion that we should be required to cancel a tour, we will inform you in advance and offer a different tour date, an alternative tour or provide a full refund.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
