Overnight Maeklang Elephant Sanctuary & Inthanon Heaven Trail Hike Program offers visitors an enjoyable opportunity to spend quality time with elephants in their natural home, as well as gain an insight into their history and behavior. You will enjoy your time trek through the jungle and agricultural areas and learn about tropical ecosystems from your local guide. And then spend a wonderful time learning and interacting with these majestic animals on your second day at one of the best Elephant Sanctuary in Chiang Mai.

• Spend 2 days 1 night with adorable elephants at Maeklang Elephant Conservation Community is an eco-friendly, ethical elephant sanctuary that does not allow elephant riding or torturing (e.g. using hook).

• Meet the caretaker of the center and help them prepare food for the friendly elephants, feed, bathe and enjoy a mud spa.
• Hike up Thailand’s highest mountain, Doi Inthanon, as you follow the scenic Inthanon Heaven Trail.

With this two day trip, we will visit the Maeklang Elephant Sanctuary Sky Camp and spend the night in one of the bungalows right next to the elephants. This beautiful elephant sanctuary is in Doi Inthanon National Park at an elevation of 1000 meters. The elephants roam free around the park and have lots of space to do what they love the most, eating and bathing. You will be able to feed the elephants, bathe them, and observe their daily routines. In the evening, we prepare a Thai Barbecue dinner and spend the night at the Skycamp. The elephants will come to wake you up in the morning, and you will be able to feed them their breakfast right from your bungalow window.

In the morning, you will help the mahouts with cleaning the elephant stables, planting rice, and foraging for food. After lunch at the Maeklang Sky Camp, we will continue to Doi Inthanon National Park to visit the King and Queen Pagoda’s, the highest point of Thailand, and hike the Kew Mae Pan Trail, also known as the “Heaven Trail,” because of the fantastic views.

• At the Park, we will allow you to spend as much time as possible with the elephants. Therefore, there is no formal schedule and aside from pick-up times, the times shown here are approximations.
• This is a joint tour, the operator will be picking up each guest in order, so please kindly wait patiently at your hotel. If waiting for too long, please contact the operator immediately.
• In any case, if your booking isn’t matched with reality when you show upfront (such as child’s age, child’s height, the number of people and etc), you are responsible to pay the additional charge upfront for the tour.
• On the rare occasion that we should be required to cancel the tour. We will inform you in advance and offer a different tour date, an alternative tour or provide a full refund.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
