Downhill mountain biking tour. Take a 1200m descent by mountain bike from Doi Suthep National Park summit to Huay Tung Tao Lake on the valley floor. This is the ultimate mountain bike adventure in Chiang Mai for beginners and intermediate riders. Our experienced English-speaking guides will make sure that your day will be fun, safe, and exciting! We will provide all safety gear and mountain bikes, you just have to bring sports clothing and shoes.

Doi Suthep National Park
09:00am – 09:30am Hotel pickup brings us to base camp our shop in the old city of Chiang Mai where we get fitted for bikes, helmets and gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are also provided. A 45-minute drive brings us up to our starting point, Doi Suthep National Park Here we spend time getting everybody ready, check the bikes, fit all the safety equipment, do a briefing with the role by especially beneficial for our beginners. Next stop Coffee plantation. A quick 30 minutes on an easy jeep track and we arrive now by mountain bike at our favorite Coffee plantation huts where we have facilities, access to a coffee of course, and assorted snacks are available for purchase. A great place to regroup. After a good break, we now head by bike through the summit Hmong Village stopping for a viewpoint visit the local school and interact with the locals. Hours of fantastic views, majestic forest off-road jeep track leads us down to Huay Tung Tao Lake on the valley floor. Arrive at Huay Tung Tao Lake for a well-deserved lunch and swim. 04:00pm Back to the hotel by truck.

What To Expect
We made a selection of routes going down Doi Suthep Mountain near Chiang Mai. This is the ultimate mountain bike adventure in Chiang Mai for beginners and intermediate riders. Our experienced English-speaking guides will make sure that your day will be fun, safe, and exciting! We will provide all safety gear and mountain bikes, you just have to bring sports clothing and shoes.
This is a great intro ride to off-road mountain biking. The descent through Doi Suthep national park presents us with great views of the Mae Ping valley below and makes this one of the most scenic and popular rides. Lunch at Huay Tung Tao Lake completes this day and may tempt you to take a well-deserved dip. On this ride, beginners will get personal instructions in basic mountain biking skills.

The riders must be in good physical and mental condition to ride safely. Therefore, no influence of alcohol and drugs, pregnancy as well as physical problems are not allowed.
